Why Young Living?
Many years ago, a client asked if I included aromatherapy in my Jin Shin Jyutsu practice. My response was a strong “no!” based on keeping the JSJ practice as the only variable involved with the session. It was only a few years ago that I was introduced to the complementary nature of pure essential oils.
I did not pursue aromatherapy because it seemed too time-consuming to learn until a few years ago when a dear friend gifted me oil blends she’d made for specific “projects,” and I learned they can be pretty handy! In speaking with colleagues experienced in aromatherapy and energy work, I realized they can be complementary in my practice. I still did not pursue incorporating them in my life or practice until I attended a class on how they can benefit animals.
That was the trigger to pull me in and the company that most resonated with me was Young Living. As the pioneer in pure essential oils and other plant-based products, I trust their purity and feel the alignment of that purity when I use them topically or aromatically. I also appreciate that they have food-grade oils that taste delicious (especially Lemon Vitality in my warm water each morning and Digize if I’ve taken a wrong turn nutritionally).
Another selling point for me and the one John most aligned with, is the Young Living plant-based cleaning products. Their Thieves product line is fantastic! It’s a huge relief to eliminate toxic chemicals from our home that may have been causing who-knows-what issues for our dogs and ourselves.
Finally, I really appreciate the direct marketing approach where I know my purchases are helping other friends create a viable living. Our “up-line” is supporting additional resources for Alaqua Animal Refuge so I feel great in making my monthly purchases.
